Cosmosky Laboratory Co., Ltd. provides technical consulting services aimed at addressing a variety of challenges in traffic management and ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems).

1. Traffic Signal Control

(1) Identification and examination of challenges in current control methods such as program selection and formation methodology.

(2) Research into innovative techniques, including the sequential optimization of control parameters, signal timings, and efforts to minimize environmental impact.

(3) Leveraging probe information for offline signal control, and more.

 

2. Generation of Traffic Information

(1) Identification and examination of challenges in generating traffic information, including congestion and travel times.

(2) Estimation and forecasting of travel times using vehicle detector information and sparse probe data.

(3) Predicting travel times on routes that lack vehicle detector data during atypical traffic situations.

 

3. Analysis of Driver Behavior through Driving Simulators

(1) Understanding a driver's decision-making process when deciding whether to proceed or halt at intersections in dilemma zones.

(2) Assessing the impact of conveying information to conditionally automated vehicles.

Taiki Tomokiyo   Singer/Tenor

 

Taiki Tomokiyo graduated with a Master’s degree in Vocal Studies at the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.

In 2019–2020, he studied abroad in Parma, Italy, as a Rotary District 2570 Global Grant Scholar. As a tenor soloist, he has performed in various concerts including Michael Haydn’s Requiem at the Geidai Choral Concert Series, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.

 In addition to his work as a vocalist in opera and concert settings, he has participated in TV programs, media appearances, and live events as a chorus singer, and also conducts choirs.

Kyoko Oda   Singer/Soprano

 

Kyoko Oda graduated from the Vocal Music Department of Kunitachi College of Music.

Her repertoire spans a wide range of genres—from classical to Japanese children's songs (dōyō), traditional songs (shōka), and popular music. She also performs Japanese art songs and children's songs with sign language accompaniment. She has appeared in numerous concerts, including museum concerts at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, a recommended recital at Casals Hall, as well as performances at senior homes and chapel concerts. As a choral conductor with many years of experience, she is highly regarded for both her leadership and teaching skills. She received the Encouragement Award at the 3rd Great Wall Cup International Music Competition, and was a finalist in the 2nd 21st Century Japanese Art Song Competition.
